We are looking for a new “Marketing & Communication Officer” for our offices located in Namur and Brussels, Belgium. If you want to be part of a young and polyvalent team that markets advanced solutions worldwide and railways expertise, you are the one we are looking for!

The Marketing & Communication Officer will have to work for our two business units and will, therefore, have to travel to Brussels in the scope of his/her duties (Namur 60% - Brussels 40%).

The Position

You will deal with all the marketing activities of the company (strategic marketing, digital marketing, event management, etc.). This includes communication with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external and to develop a deep understanding of competitor products as well as Transurb solutions.

A core function of this role is to create attractive marketing supports, both in form and content.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Marketing: Support the team in deploying Transurb Digital Strategy

  • Newsletter – Management of the newsletter
  • Website – update content (write news) and create landing pages
  • Social Media and Electronic Press releases
  • Website/Social Media/Newsletter – KPIs follow-up

External and Internal Communication

  • Create with relevant stakeholders the sales toolkit (brochures, leaflets, testimonials, motion designs, doc, videos, ppt…),
  • Manage local emailing campaigns for customers and internal communication (alerts, releases…)
  • Manage and facilitate internal communication between business units in regards to marketing activities

Inbound Marketing: Produce & localize contents for inbound marketing campaigns (white papers, emailings, videos etc.)

  • Work on the content layout (white papers, infographics,..)
  • Organize inbound marketing campaigns (creation and realization)
  • Follow up ROI (KPIs)

Events Management: Identify International key events and organize Transurb participation

  • Organize event logistics (suppliers, booth design, invitations, registrations, presence)
  • Follow up event budget and KPIs
  • Realize targeted events with partners (with Sales Reps)

PREREQUISITES

In order to be our ideal candidate, you should probably have:

  • Higher education diploma, preferably in Marketing or Communication
  • Excellent writing skills in English (an Erasmus program or internship in a native English-speaking country would be considered as a major plus)
  • Amazing copy-writing skills and drive for designing attractive marketing supports
  • First experience in managing the website, newsletter campaigns and social media (either from a job, internship or personal project)
  • First experience with digital analytics tools and experience with reporting and interpreting data (Google Analytics)
  • Ability to grasp technology/technical concepts and articulate technical information in an appropriate form
  • Be willing to travel and occasionally work the extra hour to meet deadlines (flexible mindset)
