Who we are
At Transurb, we combine technology, expertise, and team spirit to design smart, scalable solutions tailored to the realities of the railway sector.
Structured around two complementary entities — Transurb Simulation and Transurb Technirail — we provide railway operators, infrastructure managers, training centers, and technical stakeholders with digital tools and engineering services adapted to their realities. Whether we’re building immersive simulators or advising on complex signaling projects, our goal remains the same: to help rail systems evolve safely, efficiently, and meaningfully.
Our headquarters are based inside the main SNCB maintenance site in Namur, keeping us close to the field. We are also backed by John Cockerill, a historical industrial actor, and STIB, Brussels’ public transport company — two pillars that support our innovation capacity and long-term impact.
But beyond the tech and the clients, we’re a team of passionate people who take their work seriously, without taking themselves too seriously. In our flat and collaborative structure, everyone contributes, takes ownership, and pushes forward with energy, humour, and a shared goal.

STIB – 8%
Brussels’ public transport company and Belgium’s largest urban mobility operator. With 9,400 employees and over 1 million daily passengers, STIB contributes valuable field knowledge and long-term perspective to our development.
