    The position

    Are you a fluent German speaker with a passion for technology, international business, and building long-term client relationships?

    We’re looking for a Sales & Business Developer to help us grow our presence in German-speaking markets and beyond. From identifying new opportunities to crafting standout proposals, you’ll be a key player in Transurb’s international expansion – all while working in a supportive, curious,s and ambitious team.

    You’ll work from our office in Namur (with 2 days/week remote) and collaborate with railway operators, manufacturers, and industry leaders across Europe and the world.

    Key roles and responsibilities

    • Explore new markets and turn prospects into long-term partners
    • Lead the preparation of proposals and responses to international tenders
    • Showcase our simulation solutions during demos and events
    • Build trust with stakeholders from first contact to contract signature
    • Coordinate closely with internal teams (Project, Engineering, Marketing…)
    • Represent Transurb at fairs and conferences (approx. 30 travel days/year)

    Skills, knowledge, and experience

    • Fluent in German (written and spoken), with a good working level of English
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or account management
    • Strong interest in technical solutions, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
    • Proven skills in writing technical and commercial proposals
    • Solid interpersonal abilities and commercial judgement
    • Confident in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems and social media platforms

    • Enjoys autonomy but thrives in collaboration with a dynamic team
    • Motivated by exploring new opportunities and building long-term client partnerships
    • Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
    • Curious about technology, with a genuine interest in innovation and simulation
    • Open to travel (around 30 days/year) and comfortable in a hybrid work setting (Namur + 2 days remote)
