Expanding Horizons: Transurb enters the Italian Market via partnership with Mobilita ITS Academy

We are thrilled to announce that Transurb has entered the Italian market with Mobilita ITS Academy, who have decided to place themselves at the forefront of driving expertise by investing in a qualitative simulation solution.

This collaboration opens up new avenues of potential and numerous prospects for the future of the Italian railway industry.

ELEVATION OF TRAINING

Mobilita ITS Academy, one of the most important Italian organisation that provides high vocational training courses within the sustainable mobility sector, has chosen to invest in 4 desktop simulators, called Nano Simulators, including one that can either function as a stand-alone simulator or as an instructor station to supervise the other 3 simulators.

This flexible and adaptable classroom will propose practical courses with the simulation of ETCS Level 1 & 2, RSDD, SCMT, and BACC.

Courses will be managed in collaboration with AIAFF – Accademia Italiana Alta Formazione Ferroviaria, the Italian railway training centre, Mobilita ITS Academy’s founding member.

In the preparation of their exercises, AIAFF instructors will be empowered to create their own track with the Track Editor Tool (TET) while simply basing themselves on a world map and following the slopes and curves given by satellite images. Gradients, elevations, decors, as well as types of catenaries, ground, and rail, can be intuitively composed and previewed in real-time after only two days of training.

BRIGHT FUTURE

At the outset of this promising collaboration, Transurb is eager to support their new partner in the deployment of innovative tools to train their learners with the best technology available in the market.

We look forward to a bright future of enhanced training and expertise in the Italian railway industry!
