Ready for InnoTrans?

This new edition of InnoTrans is particular for everyone working in the rail industry. In 4 years, the market has been through major changes and this September is the international appointment of all and sundry working in the industry.

We are therefore particularly excited and impatient to meet you there, in Berlin!

Have you heard about Mixed Reality?

Remember when a simulator was either full-scale or affordable? Well, there is a game changer in Transurb’s training solutions: the Nano Simulator with Mixed Reality. As of now, you no longer have to sacrifice immersion for the sake of portability or a tight budget.

Concretely speaking, this new type of simulator completely immerses the learner in the driving cabin thanks to a VR headset, while making it possible to see the instrumentation of the simulator and physically interact with it. That way, you bring together a smaller, transportable and affordable simulator with an unmatched level of realism.

Still training your Rail Traffic Controllers on the manufacturer’s Test Bench?

For those who think they have no other choice but to teach traffic control on the system of their Centralised Traffic Control (CTC) manufacturer… well, there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Considering that Transurb has been developing a particularly modular and intuitive simulation software for over 20 years, applying it to the teaching of traffic control was easy and straightforward. After speaking with various operators and understanding that the system they are usually provided with is not efficient for training, Transurb has developed a CTC Training Simulator, incidentally already purchased by a partner in Australia.

Are you a freight operator?

Besides the above-mentioned pioneering solutions, other novelties will be uncovered at InnoTrans. Among them, a training tool for the technical inspection of freight trains in Virtual Reality. As the market’s new VR headsets keep on offering more and more possibilities, Transurb has evolved along this advanced technology and has developed a new type of solution to teach about out-of-cab technical procedures when inspecting the wagons of a freight train before departure.

Curious?

The best way to get a sense of the market’s new innovation is to come and try it out by yourself in Hall 27, Booth 830. We would be more than happy to welcome you and discuss your training possibilities with you. On top of that, our R&D team will be present to answer all the technical questions you might have in store for us.

See you there!
