Stadler has appointed Transurb to deliver 2 Full-Cab Simulators to Wales and Borders: one Stadler FLIRT and one Stadler CityLink.

With this second project in the United Kingdom in 2 years, Transurb reinforces its position in the UK market.

Collaborative and flexible approach with the client

Stadler was particularly satisfied by our proof of concept during our project with Greater Anglia in 2018 and decided once again to entrust us with a project. This demonstration of trust makes us proud and encourages us in our collaborative and flexible mindset.

At Transurb, we always make it a point of honour to exceed our customer’s expectations. Our flexibility allows us to do so in the complex, rapidly evolving rail environment. It is thus in a flexible and collaborative approach that Transurb will deliver state-of-the-art simulators that meet the needs of Wales and Borders, the end customer of this new project.

Longstanding collaboration with Stadler

Our collaborative relationship with STADLER goes back to the successful launch of the FLIRT NSB fleet on Norwegian tracks. Since then, we have cooperated on other projects, successfully handled in a tripartite organisation with the end-users, and look forward to continuing this strong partnership.

We will be back with some news regarding this project in the future. For more information about our training solutions, feel free to contact us at simulator@transurb.com.
